It is bounded by three elements of the radial-ring structure characteristic of the capital city: V\u00e1mh\u00e1z k\u00f6r\u00fat, \u00dcll\u0151i \u00fat and Hat\u00e1r \u00fat. It is divided along these routes. The area between Kisk\u00f6r\u00fat and Nagyk\u00f6r\u00fat is the Inner Ferencv\u00e1ros, from Nagyk\u00f6r\u00fat to the main east-west railway line, which also crosses the district in a ring direction, is the Middle Ferencv\u00e1ros, the part between the railway line and Hat\u00e1r \u00fat is the Outer Ferencv\u00e1ros, next to \u00dcll\u0151i \u00fat there is the J\u00f3zsef Attila residential complex.<\/p>\n

N\u00e9pliget is one of the largest intercity and long-distance bus stations, located in the district, from where you can reach the various districts of Budapest by metro and tram network.<\/p>\n Also, let’s not forget the under development N\u00e9pliget railway station, which as part of the Southern Ring Road could soon become an important hub for rail traffic. The main function of the railway station to be established at the corner of N\u00e9pliget will be to enable passengers of suburban trains coming from the direction of Tatab\u00e1nya, Sz\u00e9kesfeh\u00e9rv\u00e1r or Gy\u00f6mr\u0151, P\u00e9cel to reach the M3 metro at the Ecseri \u00fat station or the Vol\u00e1nbusz station in N\u00e9pliget, or to open a direct connection from the N\u00e9pliget area to trains to suburban destinations or, in the future, even by train to Liszt Ferenc International Airport.<\/p>\n Just as in the entire Capital City, the bicycle path network in Ferencv\u00e1ros is also getting better and better, it is enough to mention only the Nagyk\u00f6r\u00fat and some parts of \u00dcll\u0151i \u00fat.<\/p>\n N\u00e9pliget railway station concept (source: facebook.com<\/a>)<\/p><\/div>\n In Ferencv\u00e1ros, you can find several higher education institutions in addition to numerous primary schools, secondary schools and high schools. Among others, the buildings of ELTE, Semmelweis University and Corvinus University, as well as several faculties of the Ferenc Liszt University of Music and the K\u00e1roli G\u00e1sp\u00e1r Reformed University are also located in the district.<\/p>\n Due to the pro-culture and education policy of the district, it plays an increasingly important role in the realization of the capital’s cultural and knowledge center goals – old and new university buildings, cultural institutions – M\u00dcPA, National Theater – and the series of events.<\/p>\n R\u00e1day utca has also become a defining cultural and meeting place for the youth of the surrounding large universities. Its touristic potential is also increasing with hotel developments and spatial planning related to the 4 subway. The renovation of Csarnok t\u00e9r behind the V\u00e1s\u00e1rcsarnok and the CET built on the banks of the Danube would further increase the cultural and touristic significance. With the renovation of M\u00e1ty\u00e1s and Erkel streets, the V\u00e1s\u00e1rcsarnok and the Danube bank will be connected to R\u00e1day street.<\/p>\n Ferencv\u00e1ros, as it is already in the name of the district, is also the home of the most popular sports association in our country, just think of the multi-functional sports facility, the home of the football team, the Groupama Arena<\/strong>, handed over in 2014.
